Hello, my name is Gabe Real, and I am a hit-and-run faver. Sort of. Okay, this is how it works.  When I favorite something that's been D'Ded, or one of my watchees that has a lot of fans already, I won't comment.  I feel like I'm just saying something that has already been said by the other 300 people who commented before me, or are going to comment if I happen to be the first on the scene. If it's a small artist who doesn't get much attention, or if the piece is really something that's struck me between the eyes, or I get inspired to say something witty & constructive, then I'll leave a comment.  But otherwise, if it's something that's to

the hard drive on my laptop died, meaning i lost all my stuff (even though the laptop was only three months old....screw you toshiba, even if you did fix it for free) luckily, most everything that mattered is somewhere on the internet.  my pics on myspace or facebook, my blogs...well...blogged, and my poems on here. so i'm having to go through and pick my poems out from my gallery and save them to my new, blank hard drive. D: it is not something i really recommend. except perhaps as a form of penance. ... oh, and i feel bad about this having to share a journal with my crappy laptop lol, but, in lolcat speak, I HAS A BOYFRIEND GUISE.

to upload poems as soon as i write them, then tend to go back and upload them in batches later.  often the emotion or event that inspired them has faded or been passed by time, and i find it so terribly interesting to go and find tiny slices of my thought frozen into words
